Yang Salah Dipahami Terkait Imunisasi

IMUNISASI HALAL!.jpg

Finally, Indonesia has this policy!

Indonesia has just taken a new step related to the environment. Yesterday in National Waste Care Day celebration, Minister of Environment and Forestry declared a new policy about plastics usage as a response to the plastic waste problem which increased steadily every year. The consumer has to pay for the plastic when they go to the market. There are pros and cons about this policy.

Plastic is one of the components that is difficult to unravel and it needs decades. Moreover, the plastic bottle needs one million years to unravel. Imagine if there are many plastic wastes pile up on the ground. On the one hand, we can reduce the usage of plastics by this policy. It will encourage people to use bag beside plastic bag, and furthermore, they won’t use plastic at all. It will bring them into a good habit. Because not all of the plastics are suitable to be recycled, therefore, an eco-friendly habit is highly needed.  On the other hand, this policy only covers plastic used for storing groceries. In fact, there are many vendible using plastics as their packaging. This also became one of the largest contributors of the midden. Additionally, Indonesia has no regulation related to plastic tax. Some people believe that the policy is only stress on the society, but not to the plastic companies.

In my opinion, this policy is a good way to resolve a waste problem. German formerly has the same policy. Instead of using a plastic bag, people in German use tote bag to store their groceries. Some stores in German give free tote bag on your first purchase, and they will charge you if you do not bring your tote bag afterwards. As you can see in Hollywood films, Americans use a paper bag instead of a plastic bag while shopping at the market. Thus, retailers can provide paper bag if we do not want to pay for the plastic bag. We can adopt those ideas in order to create an environmentally-friendly habit. Not only will our environment be saved, but also our money. Ireland has plastic tax and succeeded in reducing the usage of plastics until 90%. The government can adopt this regulation to make a further movement as an effort to finish off plastic wastes if the policy being succeed.

By and large, we need to support Government through this plastic usage policy in order to create a healthy environment. The waste problem is a common problem which not only Government responsible for it but also us as a citizen. Let’s save our environment before it is too late.

Selamat Hari Sumpah Pemuda!

After 2 months!

Hola! I’m coming back since the last time I wrote 2 months ago!

There are so many things happen through this 2 months. April is super hectic month. I have been busy with the schedule from office and scholarship thing. And May is kinda lovable because there are many red dates ( I mean holiday!) in this month. So I don’t have much time to write a post on my blog (Well no. Actually I’m kinda lazy to write anything hehe)

Oh yeah, lately, I am so crazy about Keds shoes, just because Taylor Swift is the model of it hahaha. I love Taylor Swift. I really want one of Taylor Swift’s edition of Keds shoes, but you know, the price is too expensive in Indonesia, Rp 943.000. Wow! I had searched the real price on Keds official web, and the price is only US$ 50, or approximately Rp.700.000. Well, maybe one of you have a plan to travel to the US, can I ask you a favour to leave you some money and buy me that shoes? wkwk

Currently, I read The Maze Runner Series and I must say I’m in love with the story! I love both of the movie and the books! The book series is very fascinating, tense and makes me feel like in love with Thomas. I buy that three books and now become my collection at home. I love fiction story (as always) mix with some action plot and less drama. Well, even in Scorch Trial and Death Cure, Thomas seems like have a romantic thing with Teresa and Brenda, at least it doesn’t too much like in Twilight Saga (what?). And I can’t wait to watch the sequel of The Maze Runner movie in September.

And those The Maze Runner books brought me to one of the characters, Thomas, who is played by Dylan O’Brien in the movie version. I remember I have watched Dylan O’Brien movie, The First Time. This movie is teenager movie, and I like it hahaha. Dylan is so gorgeous in this movie, and that is why I officially become his fan! So, because now I’m a fan, I have to know more about him. I have googled him and tadaaaa, I found that he is in the same age as me (congratulation!) and he was a drummer in a rock band (cool!) and he is in a relationship with Britt Robertson, his co-play in The First Time movie! My heart was broken and glad in the same time. I feel broken because he has a girlfriend but I feel glad because the girlfriend is Britt Robertson! I like her. She is cute and beautiful. And I love to see them being together since the movie out in 2011 until now!

Aren’t they super cute? Or am I lebay? Hahahaha

Whatever. I like what I like and I will share anything I like.

Love Ya!

Bye! See you on next post!

Adopt The Orangutan

Yesterday, I got an email from Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) Foundation, that I officially become an adoptive parent from one of the orangutans in their program for a month! And I feel so excited and very happy because this is my first time contribute to something like this. I mean, I always want to contribute to something like saving not the only human race but also the other creatures in the world. Sort of activist activities.

And yes. BOS Foundation has an adoption program, which you can adopt orangutans by giving donation to them. Most of them have a hard time before they came to the conservation in Kalimantan. There are several orangutans that you can adopt, and my choice falls to Sura. He lost his mother and his three fingers, he has beautiful eyelashes (although he is a male) and I feel like “Oh my God, how lovely you are”.

Adopt here doesn’t like to adopt in real meaning. Like, adopt cat or dog. You can’t take the orangutans out because keep orangutans are against law. But you give your donation so the orangutan can have a better life until they can be released to their habitat. There are three packages of donation you can choose based on duration, like a month, six months until a year. As long as your donation package, you will receive an email from BOS Foundation about their progress.

I choose a month package because that is the only package I can afford hehe. But that is okay. Maybe someday I can donate longer than that.

And this is Sura ❤

sura-1He is 4 months. His cut fingers seem caused by sharp things like machetes or knife in a horrible way. On the first month in conservation, he was unstable and sick. But now he is much better. He loves forest fruit and leaflet, and he actives playing with the other orangutans.

I am so proud to be his adoptive parent. And I am so glad that I can contribute to this program.

You will receive this if you contribute to this program.

I believe God creates us to keep our Earth in balance, or I can say, God, create us as Khalifah. So it’s your choice, do you want to be a khalifah, destroyer, or the careless one? (I sound like an activist now hahaha)

If you want to know more about orangutan, or about the program, or even contribute to adopting orangutan, you can visit BOS Foundation website.
